Ermec New Headquarters – Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona)

The new headquarters of Ermec, part of the Omega Group, in Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona), a leading company in the distribution of electrical components and fuses, was conceived to translate into architecture the values of precision, innovation, and reliability that define the brand. The interior design project covers approximately 600 sqm, creating a contemporary and functional environment that is also welcoming, designed to foster collaboration, productivity, and well-being.

The design concept stems from the desire to create transparent and communicative spaces. Large glass walls and an open layout enhance natural light and a sense of continuity between different functions, supporting the smooth flow of work processes. Special attention was paid to maximizing natural light, emphasized through the use of glass partitions and open areas, which promote both transparency and interaction across operational zones.

The spatial organization is carefully designed to balance operational efficiency and representativeness. The reception area welcomes clients and visitors in a bright, recognizable environment, featuring graphic elements that reflect the brand identity. The open-plan workspace is flexible and modular, equipped with ergonomic workstations and acoustic solutions that ensure comfort and focus. Meeting rooms of varying sizes are designed for both formal meetings and informal brainstorming sessions, while the executive offices provide privacy and a sense of prestige.

Complementing the project, the common and break areas become true gathering spaces: informal zones, seating areas, and small relaxation corners encourage spontaneous collaboration and employee well-being. Every detail is intended to convey Ermec’s identity: from finishes to custom furniture, from functional organization to color consistency, design becomes a tool for brand communication.

The result is a modern and versatile headquarters, where aesthetics and functionality coexist harmoniously. The space reflects the company’s values, supporting daily activities, stimulating creativity, and promoting a pleasant and productive work experience.
